The artwork is inspired by a parcel of land in the Barossa Valley established in 1840, which served as a testing ground (or trial garden) planted to 72 different grape vine & orchard varieties, which formed the propagation of vines within the Barossa Valley. I also wanted to create the illusion that the artwork would somewhat take on the look of (turkey) feathers.
The artwork was created with; Japanese ink, acrylic paint, watercolour and pencil on paper.
